Shia LaBeouf Running Los Angeles Marathon

Shia LaBeouf ran the Los Angeles Marathon in less than five hours yesterday, March 21.

The ‘Transformers’ actor ran the 26.2 mile race to raise money for charity US VETS, which provides help and support to war veterans of all ages, finishing in four hours, 35 minutes.

Among the other celebrity runners were TV chef Gordon Ramsay, who completed the trek in three hours, 36 minutes, ‘Lord of the Rings’ actor Sean Astin, who crossed the finish line in five hours and 16 minutes and ‘The Hills’ star Audrina Partridge, whose finishing time is currently unknown.

Speaking after the race, Audrina admitted she headed straight out for some of her favorite food as soon as she crossed the finish line at the Santa Monica Pier.

She tweeted, “i just inhaled a philly cheese steak from jersey mikes in weho…. amazzinggg (sic).”

Jamie Foxx was among the celebrities spotted in the crowd cheering on participants, who started running from Dodger Stadium early in the morning.

Shia announced last month he was training for the marathon in order to help a cause close to his heart as his father Jeffrey fought in Vietnam and his paternal grandfather was a Green Beret.

US VETS President and CEO Dwight Radcliff said at the time, “We are delighted and grateful to have Mr. LaBeouf participate in the marathon on our behalf.”



Simon Cowell’s Wedding To Be Organized by Ex-Girlfriends

Simon Cowell’s ex-girlfriends are organizing his wedding.

The 50-year-old music mogul, who is marrying make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy later this year, will be helped by Sinitta and Jackie St Claire in the build-up to the big day.

A source said, “Jackie and Sinitta have taken it upon themselves to help out as wedding planners, coming up with loads of ideas for their big day.

“They have so many plans for the party afterwards and they want to make it better than his 50th party at Wrotham Park.

“God knows who they are going to get but it sure to be the wedding reception of the century.”

The weekend of September 11 and 12 has been put forward as a proposed date for the ceremony before the start of the live shows of UK TV talent show ‘The X Factor’.

The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper, “They felt spring was too early to get things organized and Simon would be spending most of his time in the US with ‘American Idol’ so they penciled in the weekend of September 11/12.

“It will be just before the live shows of ‘X Factor’ starts up again so he’ll have to go back to work soon after.”

Despite being friends with some of Hollywood’s biggest names, Simon won’t have any celebrity guests at the wedding, instead inviting them for the reception afterwards.

The source added, “Despite his persona he is a very private person and says he wants to keep the actual blessing of their marriage personal, with only his family and very closest friends present.

“There will be hardly any showbiz guests, if any, when they become man and wife. He will save the celebrations with people he works with for afterwards.”

Simon’s mother Julie has previously said she would like the wedding to take place at her local church St. Margaret’s Church in Rottingdean, East Sussex, South East England, where she worships regularly.

She said, “I’m very excited about the wedding and I’d love him to get married at St. Margaret’s. But it’s up to him and Mezhgan.”



Jesse James Hopes For Sandra Bullock’s Forgiveness

Jesse James is desperate for Sandra Bullock to forgive him.

The Oscar-winning actress has been left devastated by revelations he had an 11-month affair with tattoo model Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee and although she has fled their marital home, the motorcycle enthusiast is hoping their marriage can be saved.

A source said, “He’s clearly upset about what happened, and not everything that’s out there is true.

“He is extremely upset. He really hopes Sandy can find a way to forgive him.”

Jesse, who has three children from previous relationships, has now returned to work at his West Coast Choppers motorcycle business but is looking drained following Sandra’s decision to leave.

A source said, “He was very quiet. He seems very upset but also very happy to be back at work.”

Last week, Jesse, who married Sandra in 2005, apologized for having an affair with Michelle and admitted he deserves “everything bad” which may come from his “bad judgement”.

Through his publicist Monique Huey-Jones, Jesse said, “The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.”

In an interview with In Touch Weekly magazine, Michelle claimed her affair with Jesse began while Sandra was away filming ‘The Blind Side’ – the movie which earned her the Best Actress Oscar.

Michelle added, “I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man. He gave me the impression they were separated.”



Secret Shoe Smuggler Emma Thompson

Emma Thompson has to hide new shoes from her husband.

The British actress, who is married to her ‘Sense and Sensibility’ co-star Greg Wise, loves buying lavish footwear and has come up with several novel ways of smuggling new pairs into her home without upsetting her spouse.

She said, “He says, ‘”Please don’t tell me that there’s another pair of shoes coming into the house?’ So I have to hide them, or scuff them so that they don’t look new, or pretend that they cost 75p in a charity shop.”

When she does manage to bring home designer shoes, Emma is often met with amusing comments from Greg.

Discussing her latest purchase of patent Chanel boots, the 50-year-old star quipped, “He gave me a Nazi salute.”

The 43-year-old actor also disliked the eyelash extensions Emma recently experimented with.

She explained, “He recoiled in horror with the words, ‘Spider attack, spider attack!’ “

Emma and Greg have a ten-year-old daughter Gaia together. In 2003, they informally adopted a 16-year-old Rwandan refugee named Tindyebwa Agaba, and are fighting his deportation back to the African nation.

While Greg is often critical of her fashion choices, Emma is adamant her spouse has host of redeeming characteristics.

She added to stella magazine, “He can cook, wash up, clean, entertain children, understand maths homework, put up shelves, take them down and put them up elsewhere and repair the little holes left behind , drive sensibly but fast on motorways and get on with my mother.”



Robert Pattinson Discovers Respect For Porn Stars

Robert Pattinson’s kinky sex scenes have given him “respect for porn stars.”

The 23-year-old actor, who had to film raunchy scenes with his co-star Emilie de Ravin in ‘Remember Me’ – found stripping off on screen a difficult skill to master and has a newfound admiration for adult movie stars.

He explained, “When you end up doing it, you have this little patch on your privates. I didn’t really tape it up properly, so I’d spent so long taping it round myself and then literally it falls off within one second and it’s taped to the sheet. And you realize the whole crew are looking directly at your butt crack. I can’t think of anything exciting for them about this. It gives you a lot of respect for porn stars.”

The ‘Twilight’ hunk was so nervous about the sex scene, the director gave him and Emilie a selection of sex toys, including pornographic videos and handcuffs, to try and make them “more comfortable.”

Robert explained to The Sunday Times Style magazine, “Emilie was very, very, very comfortable. I’m always the one who’s the most uncomfortable. So we came into the room, and they said ‘It’s a closed set,’ blah, blah, and we got on to the bed and the director was like, ‘I got you these things, if just maybe you wanted to use them. You don’t have to use them, maybe it will make you more comfortable.’ They were these bondage things: lube and handcuffs and porn videos. It was so funny! “

Naomi Campbell is “highly embarrassed” about her past.

The supermodel, who has been involved in several high-profile incidents surrounding her bad temper, admits she has made a lot of mistakes over the years but has vowed to move forward and learn from them.

She said, “Everyone knows what I’ve gone through. I’m human, I make mistakes, but I’ve come clean on them all. I don’t deny them. I’ve taken the heat and felt highly embarrassed by a lot of them. I’m not proud of the things I’ve done and the incidents that have happened in my life, and I would never say I was. But I did something about it. I’m not above learning lessons.

“I’m not shirking blame for any of the things I did. I’m responsible for my actions. But I’m also responsible for making changes.”
In 2000, Naomi pleaded guilty to assaulting her personal assistant and in 2003 she was sued by another assistant who claimed she had thrown her mobile telephone at her. Just a year later, the 39-year-old beauty was accused of slapping her maid around the face and in 2005 another personal assistant accused Naomi of hitting her over the head with her BlackBerry phone.

In 2006, the catwalk beauty was arrested after she threw a jewel-encrusted mobile telephone at her housekeeper.

She was arrested again in April 2008 at London’s Heathrow airport on suspicion of assaulting a police officer after one of her suitcases went missing.

Despite her turbulent past, Naomi is determined to learn from her “faults” as she approaches her 40th birthday on May 22.

She added to Live magazine, “I’m not perfect. I’m very much a work in progress. But I’m trying. I’m working on my faults. That’s all you can do – work on them.

“I’ve worked very hard on correcting my previous wrongdoings and I won’t be held hostage by my past behaviour. I always try to treat people with respect.

“I’ve matured. I stop myself from getting tired and burnt out. I want a quieter life today. I’ve been through the party scene. You get older and your life changes. Things that matter to you when you’re 20 don’t matter so much when you’re approaching 40.”

Victoria Beckham Glad To Prove Herself

Victoria Beckham is glad she had to “prove” herself.

The singer-turned-designer was delighted to see a number of famous names, including Demi Moore and Cameron Diaz, wearing her dresses at pre- and post-Oscar parties earlier this month and thinks she has finally been accepted by the fashion world.

She said, “I have had to prove myself. But that’s a good thing: everybody has to prove themselves, not just me… I want to grow as a designer, I want to learn the techniques and do more and more.

“I feel more confident in myself because I feel fulfilled, creatively and professionally. I’ve still got a long way to go, but I feel very happy. I’m in a good place in my life. And I don’t feel I have to prove myself as much as I used to have to.”

Victoria, who has been widely criticized for her slender frame, is particularly happy that her creations have been endorsed by so many stars of different physiques.

She added, “The support has been fantastic. And it’s been great that it’s been on lots of different body shapes as well. There have been tiny people wearing the dresses, such as Madonna, and then Jennifer Hudson wore one at the Golden Globes. The way the dresses have been constructed means that they are really flattering.”



Simon Cowell Wants to Marry on Boat

Simon Cowell wants to get married on a boat named after himself.

The music mogul,who is engaged to ‘American Idol’ make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy, wants to buy a lavish yacht for his upcoming nuptials in the Caribbean and rename it ‘The Simon Cowell’.

A source told the Mail Online: “Simon sees Barbados as his home from home. It would be such a great place to get married, and the plan is to do it at sea. The idea is to pick up all the guests in Barbados and then sail to St. Barts and get married there.

“Then they’d all sail back to Barbados for a huge party. It would just be close friends and family on the yacht. Simon has been saying he’d name it after himself.”

However, this news isn’t expected to go down well with Simon’s mother Julie – who is desperate for him to wed at the St. Margaret’s Church in Rottingdean, East Sussex, South East England, where she worships regularly.

She previously said, “I’m very excited about the wedding and I’d love him to get married at St. Margaret’s. But it’s up to him and Mezghan.”

If this happens, it is believed the pair will organize a second ceremony in Los Angeles for his fiancee’s family.



Cheryl Cole to File Divorce This Week

Cheryl Cole is set to file for divorce this week.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer is apparently desperate to end her marriage to her soccer player spouse Ashley Cole, who has allegedly cheated on her with several other women, as soon as possible and is adamant she doesn’t want any of his money.

A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper, “Cheryl has turned a corner and is now ready to move on. But she doesn’t want a messy divorce – it must be as quick and as amicable as possible.

“She’s not looking to profit and was never with him for his money. She doesn’t want a penny from him.

“She’s spent weeks now yo-yoing, not knowing whether to take Ashley back, but she is ready to get on with her life and realizes divorce is the only way forward.”

It is believed Cheryl has met with divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who has previously represented Britain’s Prince Charles and Sir Paul McCartney, over recent weeks.

However, other reports claim that although Cheryl knows her marriage is over, she will wait six months before starting “formal proceedings”.

It has been claimed she will wait until this year’s World Cup soccer tournament, which Ashley is expected to take part in, providing his broken ankle has healed, has finished

Another source said, “She’s going to take a few months before she starts any formal proceedings. That will be after the World Cup and it will give Ashley a bit of reprieve.”

Cheryl announced she was separating from the sportsman through twitter on February 23.

At the time, her PR company tweeted, “Cheryl Cole is separating from her husband Ashley Cole. Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult time.”

However, it has been revealed the 26-year-old star altered this statement at the last minute, in case she decided to give her marriage another go.

The original draft reportedly read, “Cheryl Cole has announced the end of her marriage to Ashley Cole. Great efforts have been made to make the marriage work but they have failed.”



Tim Burton Thinks Hollywood Cannibalizes 3D Technology

Tim Burton thinks Hollywood will cannibalize 3-D technology.

The director’s most recent big screen offering ‘Alice in Wonderland’ is in 3-D and although he is pleased with the results he is predicting a host of bad three dimensional movies in the coming months.

He said, “It’s true that 3-D is being hyped at the moment. It was different when we started working on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ a few years ago. I’m glad I started using it early on and wasn’t forced to shoot a film in 3-D at all costs, because everyone’s doing it now. We’re surely going to see a lot of bad 3-D films in the near future, because Hollywood cannibalizes every recipe for success. That’s how the industry works.”

Despite his concerns at 3-D being overused, Tim finds the technology thrilling.

He added, “It’s a great thing when you use it as a technical tool and not as a wonder weapon.”
